Colored contacts?!?!?

hello im about to get gray colored contacts. i have really dark eyes and dark hair but really light skin. do you think gray would look cute. im asian.

Yes, i think gray would look great. I have brown hair and brown eyes and had green contacts (before laser surgery) and I always got lots of compliments so keep green in mind too.

yeah, gray would look nice. Blue or green would just look fake; but gray would be cool on you. by the sounds of it.

Colored contacts are rediculous. You should be happy with the way god made you. colored contacts look bad on people and you can deffintly tell they are not natural. Just stick with your natural self.

better ask your optometrist.. I'd like to advice you to get brown, but I guess gray contact lenses are ok.

You are going to cover up dark eyes? You are breaking my heart. I prefer dark eyes. I am not sure about grey eyes......might be kewl.

When people see an Asian person with an oddly unnatural color to their eyes, they look closely to see if the person is wearing contact lenses. It's easy to tell. If the person is wearing color-altering lenses, it makes me think they do not like themselves very much and are superficially vain.

i'm sorry hun...but unfourtanitly such a color difference looks strikingly unnatural on asians. I've seen this so many times that it peeves me to see an asian with light eyes because it just isn't genetically possible (something in the back of my mind screams HOWW!?! whenever i watch memoirs of a geisha). If you want to...go ahead...however, be sure to take a test drive at your optomitrist and try out different brands...not just colours. Select the one that blends most naturally with your eyes...not the one that shows color the clearest.

I am mediterannean and always wished i had those striking blue eyes and dark hair...but i was blessed with dark eyes...so i got a pair of colored contacts that were green but they blended so well with my eyes that it lightened them and looked naturall hazel..and when the light hit they were green.

hazel green would look WAY better. trustt mee. but if you wouldd likee gray it'd workk, but try to get a littlee tan at the beach.

Hmm...maybe. Reminds me of the character in "Memoirs of a Geisha." She was thought very beautiful for eyes that were the color of "water," but I recently read somewhere that a high contrast b/twn skin and eye color (i.e. dark eyes, light skin, dark skin, light eyes) is more visually appealing. You're probably better off sticking with the incomparable designer known as "mother nature".

I think hazel or honey coloured ones will look better. Grey might look a little odd.
