Have you noticed that the avatars are totally misrepresentative of people?

My avatar has a gray type person with a smile and some eyes. And maybe a nose or ears or something. I am a guy. I have brown hair and a light tan around the middle of my body. I have blueish green eyes and a short hair on my eyebrows. My ears have hair on them but it is real short and blondish. I have long arms and a tall stature.

Depends. Mine is pretty close to who I am, but avatars are surely limited

Well I don't have Cat ears or Whiskers...lol or a tail...

Some of us try to make them look as close to ourselves as we can, others prefer to pretend to be something they're not... that's why you can never know who you're communicating with -- a lesson ALL internet users (especially the younger ones) need to know.

the gray face is not an avatar. Go to "edit profile" and create an avatar from a variety of skin tones, facial features, hair styles, poses, clothing... The many possible combinations allow for hundreds, if not thousands, of different looks. No doubt you'll get a much better representation than the gray face. Better yet, just post your photo!

Well I am a black woman, but I'm a whole lot bigger then my skinny avatar. I have light brown eyes and I'm 5ft tall.

LMAO!! But seriously they need to have the avatars different ages. As it is an eighty year old is represented as a 20 year old. There are no grey hair options and there are no fat avatars, or chinese or indian avatars etc. This needs to be updated to truly reflect society. You can just post your picture to your 360 page and edit it to show that picture then edit your yahoo answers page to use the 360 picture then you'll be all set.
