In other words, someone who looks very open and artistic. To compare, Jude Law has got looks galore, but he comes off as more uptight/uppity than Ewan. Ewan seems more relaxed and casual and more of a free spirit who takes some risks. Physically I like his middle of the road hair, eye and skin tones - nothing too WASP-ish but not on the dark side either.
