My hair is light blonde right now but my dark roots are growing out and i want to go like a golden brown anyway. I dont have the money right now to get it professionally done so I want to buy it myself. I've died my hair brown while it was blonde before and it kind of made a gray tint on the lightest blonde ...does anyone know a good brown to use so it doesnt turn any color but brown?? i like the golden browns and dark browns and chesnut browns.

my mom uses a chestnut brown from garnier nutrisse that turns out really nice. I also use garnier, but i use it in dark brown, so it's almost black. Overall, i'd say garnier is the best dye that i've found so far (after dying for 3 years), the colors aren't usually very off, and it smells a heck of alot better than some of the other stuff! good luck!!

If you have blonde hair, light golden brown is not suitable for you since it tends to go ashy. Your best bet is to go darker. Rich dark brown, chestnut and mahogany are good choices. Loreal has some good colors.
