I need a wedding outfit!!!?

ok, so my mom is getting married in october.. so it will be cool but not freezing, you know? im only 14 and im gonna go shopping in a while but i would love a general idea of what to get.

oh and there is only a GIANT reception, so i dont need a bridesmaid dress or anything

i love bright colors but a plain black dress would be good too. im 5"6 and i am a brunette with side swept bangs and long hair. i also have blue eyes with a tint of gray in them with long eyelashes.

for dresses i like to shop at nordstroms, macys, or any place you think would be good.

My only suggestion for a plain little-black-dress (which is a good idea) would be to color it up as much as possible with some cute, colorful accessories. The only reason you'd wear a bridesmaid's dress is if you're actually one of the bridesmaids.

what does the length of your eyelashes have to do with what kind of outfit you get? 14 is too young to wear black especially at your mothers wedding. October can be hot too with indian summer and all.

Here's some ideas from your fave stores. I'd look for something nice, not too old looking, but nothing 'bubblegum' cute either. You want to look a little more sophisticated, but don't try to look 25 either.
