Jojo stated she is native American her moms photo looks like a native American or half her mom and Jojo both had black hair at first but dyed blond i have old pic of Jojo at school with mom her mom has slanted eyes long black hair and curve nose is Jojo trying to look less ethnic her eyes were gray at first now they are blue her skin was a badge look when she was younger look at her first video she looks like a Mexican Latina or something

I've seen references to Jojo's "Native American heritage" in addition to other heritage on several websites but never a reference to which tribe. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JoJo_%28sin... This would lead me to believe that she is not tribally enrolled. Contrast this to Carrie Underwood who is tribally enrolled and states so in her bio. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrie_unde... All of this to say that yes, Jojo, like many people, has Native American heritage but that does not make her a Native American. Being tribally enrolled is the ONLY way people can legally claim to BE a Native American.
