Are there more red-haired avatars than other colors?

Credit for this goes to MystMoonstruck, who says she has auburn hair and has noticed a lot of redheads among us.

I chose red because the brown on avatars looks sort of mousy. My splotchy brown hair is mostly darker than mouse, and there are no short, curly, splotchy gray and brown styles. How about the rest of you?

Hey felines! Thought that I was the only one still up and about. Anyway, I didn't choose the red hair...it chose me. That's thanks to all the Irish on both sides of my family. And the avatar hairstyle is pretty close to my own. Hope you've had a good night...glad I'm not the only night owl!

my hair is a little more auburn than my avatar's, but its not brown enough so i felt more comfortable with choosing the red hair because people at school,etc identify me more as a redhead. in fact, my sn is redheadonfire23 lol.

My hair is naturally this color (or was) (nobody knows for sure..not even my hairdresser!)..I've kept it light blonde since band camp in high school when I put a bottle peroxide on it and marched in the sun. (not knowing it would get lighter and lighter). They named me "Proxie" that year. I couldn't find a blonde Avatar on here..so I settled for close to my natural color. I have let it grow out once in awhile..like when I was pregnant and couldn't use hair lightener. But I feel more like "me" with it blonde and my son likes me blonde better.

I do see several red-haired ones, including mine. I had very dark hair when I was younger, but every time I got a perm, highlights or color it came out with more red. I usually 'highlight' in the summer, then it's more red or brown in the winter, if I'm not to lazy to color it. Then it's got some white and whatever color I'm into at the time. lol

My own hair was dark brown but its now very salt and pepper, I tried to make my avatar hair like my own, so the silver grey is the nearest I could get to it. I like red lights in hair, gives it such warmth and depth.

Kinda deep red. Actually it is Burgundy and straight as a string and hangs down to my waist.
