How can I go from simple to mega chic?

I am a pretty simple looking person. I am thin, and I look pretty, and though on the outside I was a simple comfortable dressing girl, but inside I was a megachic super fun teenager. I want to start dressing more chic and unique and fun, but I feel a little bit "underconfident" about it. And I can't really spend too much on shopping right now. I mean I have all that I need, but how I can I take what I have and go from simple to chic? I feel weird, especially in my school...

Clothes I have:

gray and black sweatpants

Cute tees, generally Aeropostale

Lots of Jewelry

hair: only allowed to gel, mousse, and blow-dry

gradually buy some chic clothing a couple items at a time and def. buy some skinny jeans! http://www.pacsun.com/ 2 pairs for 55 bucks and they fit SO nicely. 1 pair for 40 bucks i think. http://www.forever21.com/ has some nice clothing for cheap too. so try to go shopping as often as you can and just buy a 2 or 3 things each time and try to put it together as well as you can with what you already have. think smart while shopping, think about what goes with what you already have and what you can do with it if you buy it. accessorize (jewelery and belts - the ones at your waist are awesome and so flattering). hope this was helpful! also do some smart shopping and get your self to the sale racks and do extra shopping during the semi-annual sales (july 4 sales and after xmas sales). use coupons if possible! have fun! just buy whatever you like! if you wear your clothes with confidence, it just makes you look even better!

try eyeliner and candy colored eyeshadow. also, get rid of the sweats, SKINNY JEANS ALL THE WAY! they compliment your figure and look really cute :)

You definetly need to buy some jeans then. Skinny jeans are a huge trend now so maybe you could try that. Buy a designer bag if you have the money. Get those huge sunglasses, and you will look awesome. Try putting your hair into a pony-tail and putting on a headband.
