ok- i'm your stacey (from "what not to wear"; got to love that show).

blow dry your hair out with a round brush, until it is bone-dry. if you have a straightener, do small layers of hair, starting with the bottom to the top layer. if not, just blow-dry your hair out until it is very dry and sleep on it. it should straighten itself out pretty well. try to invest in a good ceramic straightener, though- my hair's curly too, and it's such a great thing to have to switch a look up!

i have big brown eyes too... try a light, shimmery taupe colour all over the lid, and under the brows to highlight. try a darker, but more subtle, brown in the crease. then brown eyeliner and curl the lashes and TONS of mascara. it'll make your eyes absolutely pop and look gorgeous.

hmmm... no brown sweater. everything will be too brown. if you can't get out and get something new before tomorrow, wear the black- black, if it's fitted and a nice cut, will always be sleek and safe. gray might be frumpy (i haven't seen these sweaters, so i don't know, though). tips on buying clothes- if you have pale skin: an electric orange, or pale, but rich, pink. olive skin(like me): electric blue, emerald green, or a royal purple. if you have darker skin: an intense red, a bright yellow, or beautiful azure blue.

no sneakers, hun. try a flat black patent leather peep-toe shoe. cute, and easy to walk in. if you live near an old navy, i believe they are on sale right now! or maybe just a cute ballet flat (don't overdo it on sparkles or stitching on them though, just keep it simple.)

as andy warhol once said, "jewellery may not make a person more beautiful, but it sure makes them feel more beautiful"... i might disagree with the first part. go hunting in some vintage stores in the funkiest neighborhood in your town, and pick out one elegant, gorgeous piece that you can wear all the time. i have a ruby and gold ring (the ruby isn't real... but only i know, right?). it is such a confidence-booster.

try a simple day-dress or skirt to switch it up sometimes. some people say that being overdressed is terrible, but i think it's a million times better than being underdressed. nothing wrong with being a little fancy!
